$10.00 AUD & GST Free

Béatrice Machet is a French poet and performer, and translator. She has fourteen poetry books to her credit, one of them is dedicated to her 2011 stay in Macau. Since 1996 she is involved with Native American people and has made contacts with contemporary Native authors and collaborated with them in order to spread their words as far as in china and translate their works into French.

She is used to collaborating with artists coming from different disciplines such as dancers and choreographers, visual artists, actors, musicians and composers in order to make up poetry recitals that she performs in France and abroad during poetry festivals or in theaters.
She teaches creative writing, gives master classes in theater academies, goes from writing residencies to different visiting fellowships and spends her time between Macau, the United States and France.
