
Geoff Page is based in Canberra. He has published twenty-five collections of poetry as well as two novels, five verse novels and several other works including anthologies, translations and a biography of the jazz musician, Bernie McGann. His awards include the Grace Leven Prize, the Christopher Brennan Award, the Queensland Premier’s Prize for Poetry, the 2001 Patrick White Literary Award. and the ACU Poetry Prize in 2017. His most recent books are Plevna: A Verse Biography of Sir Charles Ryan (UWAP 2016)), Hard Horizons (Pitt Street Poetry 2017)). Elegy for Emily: A Verse Biography of Emily Remler (Puncher & Wattmann 2019) and In medias res (Pitt Street Poetry 2019).
